Cayo Santa María
In the North keys of Villa Clara, 400 km from Havana and 35 km from Caibarien is located Cayo Las Brujas. Tarpon is the most abundant specie in this area, but you can also catch a lot of barracudas, snappers, tuna, jacks and others. Fishing is generally done in channels of 4–10 metres depth but also in flats of 1.5 metres. There is also a beautiful beach extended along shore, with clear waters and white sand.
