Day 2
6.00am Coffee in hotel
lobby to await transfer by taxi/minibus
(depending on the size of your group) to
Las Salinas. Soft drinks provided for the
journey which takes approximately 2 hours
from Central Havana.
8.00am Arrive at La Finca
hotel, your base for both Las Salinas and
Rio Negro
8.45am Transfer to Las
Salinas to pick up skiffs. Transfer down
into the reserve takes 45 minutes during
which you will see the incredible birdlife
which Zapata is famous for.
9.30am Tackle up, pick
up skiffs and meet your guides. Briefing
on Las Salinas, the fishing, fly choice
etc. Fishing for the remainder of the day.
Packed lunches and cold drinks will be provided
by the hotel and additional drinks are available
from the cool box on the skiffs
6.00pm Return onshore,
cold beers and discussion of the days fishing
6.15pm Return to La Finca
for siesta, drink and supper
Day 3/4
8.00am Transfer to Las

Negro to pick up skiffs. Transfer down into
the estuary takes 30 minutes.
8.45am Tackle up, pick
up skiffs and meet your guides. Briefing
on Rio Negro, the fishing, lure & fly
choice etc. Fishing for the remainder of
the day. Packed lunches and cold drinks
will be provided by the hotel and additional
drinks are available from the cool box on
the skiffs.
6.00pm Return onshore,
cold beers and discussion of the days fishing
6.15pm Return to La Finca
for siesta, drink and supper
Day 6
8.00am Transfer to Rio
Negro to pick up skiffs. Transfer down into

choice etc. Fishing for the remainder of

6.00pm Return onshore,
cold beers and discussion of the days fishing
6.15pm Return trip (approx
2 hours) to Parque Centrale, Old Havana
for siesta, drink and supper. Final night
in Havana so we recommend a night out to
indulge in the Cuba Experience…our
GrandSlam representatives will be able to
give you some recommendations.
Day 7
TBA Meet in hotel lobby for transfer to
Havana airport for return trip home…
